Employees Honored for Outstanding Performances (2006)
TCI Architects/Engineers/Contractor, Inc. is proud to announce that Gerrold "Bud" Ewing has received the 2006 Office Employee of the Year award. Bud, a Store Planning Engineer, has been with TCI for 4 years. Bud was nominated by his peers for his proven ability to demonstrate leadership, professionalism and a willingness to help fellow employees.
TCI also awarded Sam Arentz as the 2006 Field Employee of the Year. Sam is a laborer who has been with TCI for 7 years. He was also selected by his peers for his ability to provide leadership, professionalism and a safe work environment to others while on job locations.
TCI recognized Dan Wing with the annual Frank Kistler Memorial Award. Dan is a Project Superintendent who received this prestigious award because he possesses excellent work skills and consistently exceeds his normal job responsibilities. The Frank Kistler Memorial Award was established in memory of Frank J. Kistler, who was a compassionate, dedicated individual who was highly respected during his years at TCI.
TCI also recognized Joe Zabel with the first annual Bill Michener Memorial Apprenticeship Award. Joe is a carpenter who received this award because he has demonstrated both the desire and ability to learn a craft, has finished his apprenticeship schooling and training, is dependable, and possesses a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. The Bill Michener Memorial Apprenticeship Award was established in memory of Bill Michener, whose commitment and excellent work ethic at TCI will forever be remembered.
