TCI receives Governor’s Award for Federal Contractor of the Year – Large Business
TCI Architects/Engineers/Contractor, Inc. received the Governor’s Award for Federal Contractor of the Year – Large Business at the Wisconsin Procurement Institute’s (WPI) annual conference. Award criteria considered include: Large business based on US SBA size standards; Direct Supplier to the Federal Government; Federal government is established segment of business; Business is headquartered in Wisconsin; Business is financially sound; and Job Performance Ratings.
TCI is a design/build and general contracting firm based in La Crosse, WI. TCI has seen significant growth in its Federal work over the past five years and is now one of Wisconsin’s top 25 federal contractors. Faith technologies, Inc. nominated TCI for this award. TCI received this honor because of their success and growth in Federal contracting; success working with and mentoring small businesses; and contributions to the community. Some notable federal construction projects completed include: major renovation projects at Lock and Dam 9 and 10; numerous Fort McCoy projects such as the Battle Simulation Center, NCO Academy, Regional Readiness Sustainment Command Headquarters and the General Purpose Warehouse.
