TCI Awarded Army Reserve Center in Omaha, NE
TCI was awarded the construction of an 800 member US Army Reserve Center located in Omaha, NE. The three-building, $22 million facility will be situated on a 25 acre rural site just west of Offutt Air Force Base. The Project will include a state of the art 80,500 sq ft Training/Administrative building with a Unit Storage area, a 21,625 sq ft combined Organizational Maintenance shop and an unheated Storage Building.
Currently, US Army Reserve units utilize two substandard buildings constructed in 1890 and 1949. The new facility will provide a more energy efficient environment with a modern look and feel that will better accommodate Reserve operations and administrative workflow.
Planning is underway, and construction will begin in April, 2008.
