At
TCI, sustainable design and
construction is not a new "buzz" word,
but has been a part of our
philosophy and culture for
many years. Our staff takes
pride in improving the energy
and resource efficiency of
all projects through the
effective use of natural
resources, sustainable forest
products, utilization of
recycled materials, environmentally
appropriate landscaping,
daylighting, the efficient
use of space, waste management
and energy efficiency to
name just a few.
This
process takes into consideration
the entire life cycle of buildings,
environmental quality, functional
quality and future value.
Sustainable structures do not
have a particular
look or style, don’t
have to cost more, and are
not more complicated to build
than traditional construction.
